Shoot-out in Luzerne County ends with man facing charges
Ewardsville, Luzerne district (Wbre/Wyou) – The police blamed a man they said was a part of a shot after a discussion in Edwardsville.
According to the Ewardsville Police Department, civil servants were called after more than one gunfire was heard in the 80 blocks of Church Street. Police said one of the houses questioned the landlord and admitted that he was a part of a shot in defense.
The man claimed that a group had a discussion on the veranda after leaving the bar early that evening. Adam said that another man, who was later described as Kawone Newkirk, said he tried to reduce the situation when he fired his gunfire as stated in the declaration.

Officers, the man said they had fired towards Newkirk, he said. Later, it was found that the man did not shoot towards Newkirk and did not lie to the police in front of his friends, so they would not think he was incapable of defending them ”.
The surveillance cameras in our neighborhood caught the shots and caught Newkirk’s three shots and escaped from the stage.
Newkirk was arrested after saying that the police were hiding from the officials in the 500 block of Roosevelt Street and still using the gun in shooting.
Newkirk was accused of aggravated attack and other relevant crimes.
