Police have detained four people following a deliberate attack in which a house in Coventry was both shot and set on fire. Emergency services, including police officers and firefighters, quickly responded to the scene in Wolston Way, Willenhall, on Friday night.
Authorities confirmed three men and a woman were arrested in Northumbria in connection with the incident. While the investigation continues, officers are appealing to the public for any information that might help them piece together what happened and identify any others who may have been involved. A Coventry Police spokesman said: Coventry Live: “We arrested four people following a house being set on fire and shots being fired in Coventry.
“The property in Wolston Way was set on fire at around 9pm on Friday in what we believe was a targeted attack. We now believe a number of airborne weapons were fired. “Thankfully no-one was injured during the incident.
“A woman and three men, all aged in their 20s, were arrested. They were all detained in the Northumbria Police area on Saturday evening and returned to the West Midlands for questioning.
“They will remain in custody this afternoon. At this stage we believe the address has been specifically targeted.
