It has been claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not the people Americans think they are. It is thought that giant US companies such as Netflix and Spotify are now reconsidering investing in Sussex. Richard Kay, Editor at Large of the Daily Mail, said: “America likes people who want another chance, and Harry was kind of giving it another shot; he felt kicked out of his own country, took this lovely American wife, and I think America respected him for coming to them and building a new career on his side of the pond.”
Journalist Jack Royston said in Channel 5’s new documentary: “Netflix was the least helpful. Oprah took the first bite of the cherry and Spare had a lot of exclusive material left untold.” Harry and Meghan: Did America Have Enough? about the couple’s CBS interview with Oprah. Writer Alexander Larman said, “Netflix is not a stupid company. But it’s starting to look very strongly like they gambled a lot of money on the public’s appetite for a brand that doesn’t exist.”
