A British woman in Türkiye cannot return to England to continue medical treatment for brain tumor due to the lack of existing hospital beds in her hometown Liverpool. Gill Taylor-Scarth, 56, went to Hisaronu in Türkiye on August 15 with his family.

Shortly after his 65 -year -old husband Keith Scarth’s death, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Türkiye was paid by her husband before her tragic death in December last year. Gill decided to go to Türkiye to spend time with his family after the green light was given by the Walton Center.

He was seriously ill during vacation and was finally taken to a private hospital in Antalya. After saying that Turkish doctors needed surgery immediately, he had an eight -hour operation on August 26th.

25 -year -old daughter Sophie Taylor Liverpool Echo: “He did surgery and said they were pleased with the surgeons.

“Currently, we hope to take his house on a medical flight as soon as possible if he’s stable and if it’s in a position to do so. This was a nightmare.”

However, Sophie claims that the family has been informed that she will not be able to return to Liverpool to continue Gill’s treatment, because there is currently no bed in the Walton Center.

Sophie said, “We’re really struggling to get your home,” Sophie said. “It has passed for about a month since he got sick and he was stuck in the hospital they didn’t know in English. Really uneasy and angry because he just wants to go home. He cries every day. It affects him mentally. It was a nightmare.

“I’m really worried about mental health and physical health, pneumonia has been contracting and worse.

“I don’t understand why you can’t just go to Royale or instead. The family is flying back and forth, it costs more money. I have a two -year -old age I can’t see at home because I’m here with my mother. We just want her home.”

In a statement, a spokesman Walton Center “We work closely with the family and insurance company in the following steps to send back medically properly. All patients should be meticulously evaluated to ensure appropriate acceptance.”
