Fans sent their well wishes to the star, but many were disappointed by the news, and it looks like many have already made the trip to see the 1D star.
‘Get well soon zayn, I have arranged the flight bookings and everything except PRAYING for a rescheduled date; Let’s hope Zayn recovers quickly;
‘I’m already in London, I spent so much money on the flight and I’m so disappointed; I hope you feel better Zayn.’
The canceled concert was initially offering fans a one-night-only experience to hear new tracks from Zayn’s upcoming album KONNAKOL.
Fans would attend a Q&A and be treated to exclusive footage prior to the album’s release.
Zayn also planned to take a large group photo with the audience, which was printed as a poster for fans to purchase upon exit.
This comes after Zayn announced his biggest solo tour to date, with 31 dates around the world.
The singer will headline arenas and stadiums in North America, South America, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
This is a landmark step for Zayn, who canceled previous live dates due to ‘extreme anxiety’.
The tour kicks off at Manchester’s AO Arena on May 12, 2026, with Zayn making stops in Glasgow and Birmingham before wrapping up his only European show this year with a show at The O2 in London on Saturday, May 23, ahead of UK Spring Break.
Zayn will also be performing in Los Angeles, Mexico City, São Paulo, and more before wrapping up in Miami, Florida at the Kaseya Center on Friday, November 20.
Earlier this week, Zayn announced his fifth studio album, KONNAKOL, which will be released on April 17, 2026 and is available for pre-order now.
One Direction star Zayn has opened up about his struggle with crippling anxiety throughout his solo career; This led to the cancellation of many high-profile concerts, including the last-minute withdrawal of her performance at the 2016 Capital Summertime Ball in London.
In 2024, Zayn was due to perform at Newcastle City Hall as part of his Stairway to the Sky UK tour.
However, a statement released before the show said the performance ‘will no longer go ahead’ as fans were left in shock.
Zayn later took to his Stories and wrote: ‘I’m so sorry I did this but my voice isn’t around at all tonight and there would be no show without it.
‘I’m really sorry to disappoint you, especially in such a short time… I kept my hope until the last moment. I hope to get some rest tonight and return to the stage tomorrow.
‘I offer my deepest apologies to Newcastle. ‘I love you all.’
News of the new album comes after former bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan released new albums this year.
