Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong points to an important moment in the deepening strategic partnership between the two countries, which will reach India on Tuesday for a three -day official visit.
The 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Singapore is expected to sign the signing of several senior agreements between sectors such as finance, digital innovation, skill development, civil aviation, marine cooperation and space technology.
Prime Minister Wong will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the new Delhi, which is expected to discuss regional and global developments and new ways of cooperation.

Authorities from both sides said that the visit of PM Modi aims to gain more momentum into the officially established comprehensive strategic partnership during his visit to Singapore in September 2024.
The visit comes at the heels of the third Indian-Singapore Ministry Round Desk (ISMR) in the new Delhi at the beginning of this month.
During the round table, ministers from both countries reviewed progress in cooperation under six basic columns: advanced production, connection, digitalization, health and medicine, skill development and sustainability. Several new initiatives have been identified to improve cooperation in these areas.
Singapore and India shared a solid bilateral relationship built on strong economic, defense and cultural ties. In recent years, cooperation has expanded to developing areas such as Fintech, Green Energy, Smart Urban Development and Cyber Security.
With the increase in trade and investment flows and the human-human connections strengthened through education and tourism, both countries expressed their desire to institutionalize their partnerships in a rapidly developing geopolitical environment and make the future resistant to the future.
