Sinners breaks Oscar Record with 16 nods; Timothée Chalamet makes history as youngest three-time Best Actor nominee

Here is the full list of nominees for the 2026 Academy Awards, which will be held on March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) kicked off Hollywood’s biggest night by announcing its highly anticipated Oscar nominees on Thursday. Michael B. Jordan’s Sinners stormed the field with a record-breaking 16 nominations, while heavyweight contenders One Battle After Another, Marty Supreme, Sentimental Value and Frankenstein followed closely behind, each scoring multiple nominations in major categories.

Among the leading acting awards, Timothee Chalamet made history as the youngest man with his third Best Actor nomination at the Oscars. Others in the race are Leonardo DiCaprio (One War in a Row), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Michael B Jordan (Sinners) and Wagner Moura (Secret Agent). While international films received good scores again this time, the highest-grossing Hollywood cartoon ‘Zootopia 2’ and Netflix’s popular movie ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ were deemed worthy of awards in the Animation race.
