Six Nations 2026: Four Ireland players named in team of tournament but no England players selected

Wing Kyle Steyn, fly-half Finn Russell and back-row Rory Darge were named in the Scotland squad that bounced back from its first defeat to Italy and secured third place in the championship with three wins.
With the performance reflected in the selection of hooker Giacomo Nicotera, prop Simone Ferrari and center Tommaso Menoncello, Italy won both matches, finishing in fourth place.
Prop Rhys Carre, who scored a storm against Ireland, became the only representative from Wales to finish their campaign on a high with victory against the Italians.
England’s only win of the tournament came against Wales in their opening game, and their fifth-place finish with just eight points was their worst in Six Nations history.
