Sky News halted for breaking Iran announcement: ‘Think you know why’ | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Sky News was paused after US defense secretary Pete Hegseth made a breaking announcement about Iran’s “possibly disfigured” new religious leader. Speaking from the Pentagon, he explained: “Iran’s leadership is in no better shape. They’re desperate and hiding, they’ve gone underground to hide. That’s what the rats do. We know the religious leader is injured and possibly disfigured. He made a statement yesterday, a weak statement actually. There was no audio, no video, it was a written statement. He called for unity. Apparently killing tens of thousands of protesters is unity for him…”
“There are many cameras and voice recorders in Iran. So why is there a written statement? I think you know why…”
The politician continued: “His father is dead. He is scared and injured. He is on the run and lacks legitimacy. This is a complete mess for them. Who is responsible? Iran may not even know.”
He added: “We know that they know, hour by hour, that the military capabilities of their evil regime are collapsing. “They barely communicate, but they coordinate alone.
“They’re confused and they know it. Our answer? We’ll keep pressing; we’ll keep pushing and pushing forward. There’s no mercy for our enemies.”
Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has not been seen by Iranians since his election on Sunday.
Hegseth also said during the announcement that the United States would launch the highest volume of attacks against Iran.
He stated that Iran would not be able to produce any more weapons because all of the country’s defense companies would be “destroyed”.
War broke out between Iran, the United States and Israel on February 28, when the United States targeted its military sites, leadership and missile infrastructure.
