Small plane crashes at London Southend Airport

Police said a small plane has fallen to London Southend Airport on the eastern coast of England.
“We are staying at a serious scene at Southend Airport.”
It was not clear how many people were on the plane.
Images from the UK newspaper websites, which are not confirmed by Reuters, showed a fire ball rising to the air on Southend Airport, about 56 km east of London.
Britain’s Eastern ambulance service, four ambulances and other intervention vehicles sent, he said.
The website of the relatively small airport showed that five international flights were canceled after the accident.
As a precaution due to their proximity to the incident, the police released a local golf club and Rugby Club.
John Johnson, who was at Southend Airport with his family during the accident, said that the plane “first saw a” big fire ball “because he fell to the ground first.
Johnson said to the PA news agency: “We all waved to the pilots and all waved us.
“The plane then turned 180 degrees to take off, take off, rolled down the runway.
“About three or four seconds after the departure, he began to make the bank intensively on his left, and then, within a few seconds, he was turned upside down and fell to the ground first.
“There was a big fire ball. Obviously, everyone was shocked to witness it. All the children saw him and families saw him. I called 999, reported.
“Firefighters of the airport immediately responded, two firefighters and then Essex police and Essex Fire Department and Rescue Service and a helicopter emergency medical service, all responded to the scene.”
Local Parliament Member David Burton-Sampson called on people to stay away and allow emergency services to do their jobs.
“With everyone involved in my thoughts.” He said.
