Since the mining giant Glencore says that the federal government does not exclude a life line to save thousands of jobs, the patient pressure to accelerate and recover a patient.

Glencore warned that the staff would put the MT ISA Copper Semelter and Townsville refinery in the distant North Queensland unless the government assistance to continue to work.

Industry Minister Tim Ayres confirmed that the federal government had nothing in its potential life lines to keep the Izabe facility out.

“We want to make sure that Glencore contributed to the future of this facility and investing in ABC Radyo on Friday.

“We are definitely on the table, we are definitely busy to understand what is the best future, sustainable, competitive business that can increase business and investments to North Queensland.”

However, the Prime Minister Anthony Albanians, despite the federal and state governments working on a solution, was seen that the ball remained strict in Glencore’s court after accusing the mining giant of not coming to the table.

“Let’s still be clear about Glencore. It is a very profitable company. They paid $ 2.2 billion dividends this year.”

“It was good for Australia Glencore. It’s time for Glencore to return to Australia.

“They should support the town that supports them. This has helped to increase the richness of their shareholders.”

Deputy Prime Minister of Queensland Jarrod Bleijie supported the Prime Minister’s call for action to contribute more to the mining giant of 17,000 jobs in the north of the state.

“Glencore is not short of $ 1, I can guarantee it,” he said to journalists.

“We want him to put more than Glencore on the table, we put a reasonable offer on the table.”

This week, the Swiss company closed the underground copper mine in MT ISA and cost about 500 direct work.

However, there are fears that Izabe and refinery can close in September, Glencore envisages a $ 2.2 billion loss in the next seven years.

Glencore said that he should know if there would be a state and a federal government agreement to financially support the business.

Glencore’s Corporate Affairs President Cassandra McCarthy said on Thursday, “In the next few weeks, we really need to know whether to support us to continue the activity.

A delegation, including Katter’s Australian Party and Townsville Enterprise, went to Canberra on Thursday to lobby the federal government to support the Izabe facility.

A Glencore Smelter employee was among those who have long been calling for support to the business supporting the regional community.

“This is not about a company, not about politics, but about saving a community, about saving rural and distant Australia,” he said.
