King hails harmony with nature in documentary

“We are nature too, we are a part of it, not separate from it,” the King says in the trailer for a new documentary about his environmentalism.

Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, which will air on Prime Video in February, was made in collaboration with his charity The King’s Foundation.

In the trailer, Charles watches a video of his speech in which he talks about the importance of “harmony between humanity, nature and the environment.”

Narrated by Kate Winslet, the documentary tells how Charles, as Prince of Wales, pursued environmentalism before it became a mainstream issue, and the opposition he faced.

His advocacy for organic farming and the science behind biodiversity loss, deforestation and climate change long before these issues were widely discussed will be detailed.

Shot on four continents by the award-winning production company Passion Planet, the film will document how nature is declining around the world and its effects are becoming increasingly difficult to ignore, and will offer a hopeful vision of the future.

It will show how the King’s Foundation, based at Dumfries House in East Ayrshire, is taking this approach through projects focusing on community regeneration, sustainable textiles and traditional skills.

In the trailer, which includes decades of archive footage, the King is seen saying, “We must put nature at the center of the equation,” outlining his philosophy of finding harmony with the natural world.

The King’s Foundation was founded by Charles in 1990.

Winslet became an ambassador for the charity last year and attended the foundation’s awards ceremony at St James’s Palace in June 2025.

Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision will be released on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on February 6.
