(Reuters) -Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has pledged financial support to all fans of the Premier League club caught up in a mass stabbing on a train near Cambridge, England, on Saturday.
11 people injured in a series of knife attacks were treated. The only suspect charged was a 32-year-old British man.
Reports in the British media stated that one of the injured was a season ticket holder at the City Ground, while Forest confirmed that most of their fans had traveled by train following the 2-2 home draw with Manchester United.

“Everyone at Nottingham Forest is shocked and deeply saddened by what has happened,” Greek shipping boss Marinakis said on Sunday. he said.
“The courage and dedication shown by our fans on that train represents the best of humanity and our club community.
“We will ensure that any supporters caught up in this incident receive any financial support they need to ensure they have access to the best possible medical care while they recover.”
