Social media users report Netflix outage as ‘Stranger Things’ returns

Users on social media reported that they were experiencing problems of Netflix Wednesday is the night of the widely anticipated fifth season premiere of “Stranger Things.”
DownDetector.com said on Wednesday: “User reports indicate issues with Netflix.”

According to DownDetector.com, users began reporting issues with Netflix around 7:40 PM Eastern time. Netflix had said that the final season of “Stranger Things” will air on Wednesday at 8pm Eastern.

The company did not respond to a request for comment.
