The best new cars to own ranked by drivers – is your brand on the list?

Drivers voted for the best automobile brands that money can buy and the crown was taken by a Japanese brand for the second time in a row.

Every year, Auto Express asks drivers to participate in the annual Driver Power New Car Customer Satisfaction Survey to distinguish between good and evil.

Driver Power, using the data collected from the owners of each manufacturer’s arrangement, says the results together to obtain a general perspective on the general satisfaction level for each brand.

The driver’s energy scoring list is divided into 10 categories. Each brand results in a final percentage score out of 100, and the first 10 of them are all over 85 percent.

There is a harsh competition and a few surprises with a total of 31 different brands that make the last list.

With the expert appearance of Auto Express’s consumer Editor Tom Jervis, the reasons why they get big scores in reverse.

The driver’s power was 2025: Honda was tenth with 85.77%. Honda is the first Japanese manufacturer on the list

10. Honda – 85.77 percent

Tom Jervis said: ‘Honda, like other Japanese manufacturers, has a strong reputation to build high -quality, reliable cars that do not cost the world to run.’

Honda was the top five finishes in both building quality and operating costs categories with the second place for service costs.

External styling and driving comfort hit, civilian suspension was particularly uncomfortable.

Mr. Jervis,: ‘Otherwise, it is a very powerful show for a brand that holds a slightly low profile during the ongoing home crossing.’

Suzuki, 85.79%score 9th place Suzuki. The drivers loved how safe their cars were, but they listed them for information-education and SAT-NAV

9. Suzuki – 85.79 percent

Suzuki only sprayed his Japanese opponent, the owners were most impressed by the security systems. This vital category came fourth.

There were no other noticeable performances, but Auto Express calls it ‘All-Traces’ Jack’.

The worst performance came in the information-entertainment category that the built-in Sat-Nav draws down from the rankings.

‘However, strong demonstrations in brakes, road manners and steering sections are generally caused by a respected sixth place for driving and transportation.’

8. BMW – 86.00 percent

BMW was third for the power transfer organ category – it is not surprising that BMW is known for building ‘final driving machines’, but bad use made the drivers go 12th in this graph and put them in the midfield.

Mr. Jervis said: ‘Safety, practicality, internal and information-entertainment at the top 10 finish, is not something to smell.’

BMW has always been praised for information-education systems, and survey participants surprisingly said that Idrive technology is very user-friendly with a strong smartphone connection and well-built SAT-NAV.

However, the extremely separatist outside, the collapse of the German brand, Mr. Jervis comments: ‘Indeed, inanimate performances for external style – probably thanks to controversial kidney grids – and high -running costs, the only field of German feet from the sharp end of this list were the only fields that hold the German feet.’

7. Peugeot – 86.12 percent

Peugeot proved that you don’t need to be an expensive brand to have mass attractiveness, and Peugeot took the seventh place.

Mr. Jervis said: ‘Peugeot is currently – especially in the design department – there is a roller, so the French company came third in the external category.’

Peugeot succeeded in addressing the third installations for the steering wheel thanks to the small steering wheel in the i-Cockpit cabin layout.

The interior design was an equally large hit with customers, Peugeot comes in the top 10 for interior and practicality.

Unfortunately, the 25th place for money was disappointed by the French brand.

6. Renault – 86.29 percent

Renault, another French brand, has a perfect time late.

The only reason he missed the first five is his extensive scores – some wonderful, scary.

Owners did not excite the interiors, practicality, driving or reliability of Renault models.

Nevertheless, Renault ranked second for employee costs and ranked third for Google-supported information-entertainment systems.

Mr. Jervis said: ‘Renault, who was placed in the top 10 for security features, external and value, gains its place in the top 10 despite the inconsistencies in some regions.’

5. Land Rover – 86.52 percent

Land Rover is really taking steps – or leaps and limits.

Last year, the British brand entered the top 10 and now entered the top five – ‘impressive moment’ he says.

Once a Land Rover buyer is always a Land Rover receiver, customers vote for the second best for practicality and third for interiors – some of the most luxurious.

And his appearance was fourth for the exterior.

Mr. Jervis, ‘fuel economy, reliability and value continues to be the biggest disappointment of the British manufacturer,’ ‘surprising,’ he said – he gets 30, 24 and 28 points respectively.

4. Vauxhall – 86.80 percent

Vauxhall smashed in Driver Power Model Survey and was equally successful in the brand survey.

Mr. Jervis, Vauxhall’s ‘fuel swallow hybrids or the British brand’ economy and running costs for the first place ‘is full of zero emissions’ series of the series pointed out.

As efficient as they will run, drivers do not like to spend time in a Vauxhall, but they leave these cars with low internal scores due to the weak internal harmony and finish inside. Actually, it was for worse score for interiors.

The British brand also scored goals outside the top 10 for security features and money value, but with strong ratings anywhere else, it is good to work for the Coventry team.

3. Lexus – 87.06 percent

Lotus has been a long -lasting driver’s strength favorite and still has a place on the podium.

Toyota’s Premium brand emphasizes 11 of the cheaper sister brand, which is happy in almost every marking category of Lexus owners.

Lexus finished at the top five for value, information-entertainment, interior and quality and reliability.

Reliability, as usual, was the best result of Lexus, third, because cars were built very well.

Mr. Jervis said: ‘As a more luxurious brand, it is not shocking to see the score outside the top 10 for Lexus’ running costs, but the person can lift an eyebrow in 13th place for driving and transportation. But otherwise it is an impressive run for the best in Japan. ‘

2. Mercedes – 89.26 percent

Now we’re entering the first two, and this year the second is Mercedes for the Driver Power Brands ranking.

The expectation for premium brands is high, but it is seen that Mercedes has reached nine podiums in the 10 categories.

Mercedes owners say that the German brand has the best security systems and the best information -tidying systems – MBUX is both intuitive and stylish. Taking the second place for external and interiors shows how Mercedes offers the owners only the best internal comfort and style and lives as a luxury brand.

Mr. Jervis said: ‘Bad fuel economy and expensive service, otherwise they would be the only real smear with strong performance.’

Subaru is not the most owned brand in England, but the most popular brand. Subaru is the best car brand thanks to almost many categories, including driving transport. Just Running costs disappointed

1. Subaru – 90.30 percent

A car does not allow you to see it on the road every day, but SUBARU continues to be a shining star for loyal driving; Subaru completed the list of driver power brands for the second year in a row.

Why did he take the top on the podium? Mr. Jervis said this is because of ‘star performances in almost every category’.

Subaru was the first in seven of 10 categories, ‘This year’s absolutely dominated the list’: The best scores, both were filled for driving and transportation, quality and reliability due to the brand’s rally heritage.

As in Mercedes, the only disadvantage for Subaru is high operating costs, the brand ranks 18th in 18th due to the lack of hybrid or electric models offered.

Mr. Jervis said: ‘Nevertheless, SUBARU is undoubtedly a valuable winner of this year’s crown because it is the only end of the top 10.’
