Weaponised drone developed to counter unmanned threat

UAE Systems says it has developed a new armed drone aiming to offer military customers a lower cost -cost option to resist unmanned planes that come to dominate the battlefield in Ukraine.
The UAE of British, the Malloy T-150 drone of the APKWS laser guide, which fired 70 mm rockets, launched a solution to the threat of the Kamikaze attack drones, which exploded when they hit the targets, and used the combination to draw another drone in experiments.
“We have done more than one investigation from the US agencies, agencies in Europe, the UK,” BAE Systems’ Falconworks Unit Business Development Director Anthony Gregory said.
Considering the increasing military interests as countries see what happened in Ukraine, and Iran’s deployment of drones against Israel, the UAE, Raytheon Technologies Patriot said that he wanted to provide an alternative from the mobile surface to the air system.
“Such ammunition is probably in four or five figures, a patriotic missile or things you see in news to do the same thing in four or five figures.
The weapon system can be removed from the drone within one hour, which can allow the dron to supply or discover cargo. It is already used by the US Maritime Posts and the UK’s royal navy to carry equipment between ships in the sea and replace some helicopter elevators.
The UAE acquired the UK -based Malloy Aeronautics, an expert heavy -fiber drone company last year.
Gregory said that the trial of Drone with APKWS kits in the F-16s and Apache helicopters, which were produced by the US business and usually in the F-16s and Apache helicopters, took place in Utah last month.
Considering the expected demand from Western soldiers, the UAE said it aims to start producing electric motors that give drone power in the UK instead of buying from China.
“We are working as all elements in the value chain of the supply chain,” Gregory said.
