Somerset coach crash fundraiser reaches more than £12k

A donation to support families affected by a coach accident that killed a 10 -year -old child collected more than £ 12,000 in 24 hours.
Minehead was ruined with an accident that occurred on Thursday from a school trip to Exmoor Zoo on Thursday. Six children stay in the hospital – two in Bristol Children’s Hospital, four in Somperset. All three adults are treated in the hospital.
Bobbie Rammond, a small business owner, who lives in West Somperset, collected donations on Friday.
In a statement, Mr. Rammond said: “This tragedy shook the local community, and like the others, I felt a strong desire to do my best to help.”
Avon and Somerset Police declared a big event On Thursday at around 15:00, after the single -vehicle collision in Cutcombe Hill near the Wheeddon Cross.
Carrying about 70 people, the Aries turned to his roof and shifted a bank down.
Most of them were students from Minehead secondary school.

Mr. Rammond said the community fund would help support those affected directly from the accident.
“I understand that this is a delicate time, and even though it will be shaped by the needs of those involved in the special use of the fund, my word is to reach the most needed people.” He said.
“As the father of two little children myself, I can only start imagining the pain and heart attack he has experienced too much right now.”

Mr. Rammond said that money will be used to provide emergency assistance and support directly to those who were directly affected by the injured, hospitalized and “heartbreaking” accident.
He said he would help those who need emotional and psychological assistance even if they were not physically damaged in the incident.
