Adam Ruiz-Avila: Police search underway for missing High Wycombe Man

WA Police have serious welfare concerns for a 48-year-old man reported missing in Perth’s east.

Adam Ruiz-Avila was last seen at his home in High Wycombe on Friday and was reported missing just after 6pm.

Police later located Mr. Ruiz-Avila’s vehicle in a parking lot on Sovereign Drive in Two Rocks around 6:45 p.m.

Investigators believe the vehicle had been at that location since approximately 10:20 that same day.

A large-scale search operation involving significant police resources is currently underway in the surrounding area.

The search included officers from the Mounted Unit, Police Air Wing and Water Police, with assistance from the State Emergency Service and Volunteer Sea Rescue.

Mr. Ruiz-Avila is described as approximately 179 cm tall, of medium build, with gray hair and brown eyes.
