Southall fire LIVE: Firefighters rush to tackle blaze as thick smoke prompts railway chaos | UK | News

Firefighters rushed to a recycling center in Southall after a massive fire broke out in the area on Sunday. London Fire Brigade said eight fire trucks and around 60 firefighters were responding to the blaze on Johnson Street, where around 15 tonnes of mixed recycling is currently burning.
The incident was reported to fire crews around 17.30 today. The LFB added that enforcement officers mobilized crews from Southall, Hayes, Feltham and surrounding fire stations to the scene. The fire caused travel disruption as the nearby Great Western Main Line was closed as a precaution due to smoke caused by the fire. National Rail has warned that disruption linked to this incident between London Paddington and Reading could last until 8pm.
