A teenager is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed in a brawl outside a house party in Sydney’s west, where riot police were called to disperse a crowd of about 40 people.
At around 10.40pm on Tuesday, emergency services received reports of a fight in the driveway of a house in Sedgman Crescent, Shalvey.

A 17-year-old boy was stabbed multiple times and was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Specialist police, including riot police and a dog team, were called to intervene in the crowd remaining at the scene.

No other injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
A police spokesman said the people involved in the fight were not believed to live on the property where the party took place.
