SP felicitates APSRTC drivers with good safety record

Superintendent of Police K. Pratap Shiva Kishore congratulated the top APSRTC drivers for having an accident-free record in their service.

Participating in the month-long Road Safety Celebration here on Friday (January 30), Mr. Pratap Shiva Kishore appreciated the RTC drivers for acquiring good driving skills and maintaining good performance records.

“The drivers working in APSRTC have earned the trust of lakhs of passengers. Experienced drivers transport the public safely to their destinations every day,” the SP said and appreciated the RTC officers for providing quality training to their staff in maintaining vehicle condition and good training.

He advised drivers to protect their health, be at peace and be in a tension-free state of mind while on duty so that passengers have a safe journey.

“Many people prefer APSRTC as the company ensures a safe journey. Drivers need to be well-fed, properly rested and attend their duties in advance,” said the SP.

APSRTC Eluru Regional Manager Shaik Shabnam, Depot Manager Vani, Deputy Transport Commissioner Sekhar, Motor Vehicle inspector Jagadish and other officers attended.
