Step by step guide to fill SIR form online
To fill out the SIR form online, voters must visit the Election Commission Voter Services Portal or the state CEO portal. The online link of SIR form will be active from the start date till the last date i.e. 4 December 2025 for West Bengal. After logging in to https://voters.eci.gov.in/
voters need to click Fill out Census Form 2026 and select their state.
If the voter has a Voter ID card, their details will be auto-filled once the EPIC number is entered. New voters or voters who have not previously registered can choose the ‘New Form’ option. Voters then need to enter their EPIC Number (2025) in the designated field and click on the search button.
They must choose one of the following categories: My name is present in the Electoral Register of the Latest SIR; My parents’ name (Father, Mother, Grandfather, Grandmother) is present in the electoral roll of the last SIR; or My name and my family’s name are not on the electoral rolls.
