Special Pujas, Deepalankaram Mark Kathika Masam at Kaleshwaram

-Warangal: Sri Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple authorities have announced a month-long schedule of special religious programs and services to be held during the holy month of Karthika Masam from October 22 to November 20 at Kaleshwaram in Mahadevpur mandal in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.

Special pujas include Rudrabhishekam and Kumkumarchana twice a day; from 8.30 to 13.30 in the morning and from 16.00 to 18.00 in the evening. Additionally, Laksha Bilvarchana on Karthika Masam will be performed daily from 6.30 am to 8.30 am along with the illumination of Akasha Deepam.

Many important events are planned for the auspicious occasion. Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva will be held on the fifth Monday of the month and also on 4 November Vaikuntha Chaturdashi at 6 pm. The temple will provide free earthen lamps, wicks and oil to devotees for the occasion. Bhajan and Pravachanam sessions will be held at 8 pm, followed by Ksheera Abhishekam’s address to the presiding deities at 11 pm, culminating with Lingodbhava Puja.

On November 5 (Full Moon Day), the Satyanarayana Swamy Vratam mass will begin at 4 pm followed by the traditional Jwala Thoranam at 7 pm. Special Abhishekam and Alankaranam will be performed for Nandeeshwara during Pradosham on Monday, November 17.

Other important rituals include Laksha Vattula Puja in the morning and Godavari Harathi every evening. The temple authorities have also planned cultural programs at the temple premises throughout the month.
