Spring To Set in, Winter Likely To Recede After Friday in Telangana

Hyderabad: Today is the last day of winter in Telangana and temperatures are starting to rise gradually from Friday, according to data released by the India Meteorological Department Hyderabad and Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) on Wednesday.

Daytime temperatures are expected to gradually rise to 33°C in many parts of the state from February 13. Night temperatures are also expected to rise, possibly to between 16°C and 18°C, reducing the early morning coolness seen in recent days.

Authorities state that the transition to spring conditions will begin next week.

Minimum temperatures dropped to 10.2°C in Kumuram Bheem and 11.2°C in Sangareddy. Some areas in the north recorded low temperatures between 11°C and 13°C. Hyderabad recorded a minimum of 14.8°C. Forecasts for the next three days show minimum temperatures largely in the range of 14°C to 16°C in most areas.

There was no severe cold wave warning. Most areas fall into the “monitor” category due to the absence of any major alerts.
