North Korea says South fired shots in border region

North Korea said that the South Korean army fired warning shots in the border area between the two Koreas and called the state media a deliberate provocation, according to KCNA.

The North said the shots were fired on Tuesday.

North Korea also said that warning broadcasts made from the South Korean army in the border area have increased.
