St. Joseph’s College of Engineering hosts Smart India Hackathon 2025

St. Joseph College of Engineering hosted the grand finale of the national level Smart India Hackathon 2025 for software engineering on December 8 and 9. This event is organized by the Innovation cell of the Ministry of Education and the All India Council for Technical Education. A total of 20 teams comprising 120 students from all over India participated in the event.
Among the 1.5 lakh ideas across India, there were solutions for coastal resilience, women’s safety, inclusive education, sustainable fisheries and digital skilling.
Over the last three years, the Smart India Hackathon has seen thousands of teams turn crazy ideas into workable solutions using Autodesk tools.
