Anthony Rotondo fined $350k for making, uploading deepfake pornographic images of prominent Australian women

A man who sent a deep epic images of leading Australian women to a website was shot by the Federal Court with a fine of $ 343,000 in a turning point.
Anthony Rotondo, Australia’s Tenenetis commissioner Julie Inman Grant, a deep tonse pornography website uploaded to the website of several women was taken to court because of the “sincere” images.

A decision published by Justice Erin Longbottom summarized multiple violations ranging from November 2022 to October 2023.

Justice Longbottom said that Mr Rotondo’s multiple violations involves performing a sexual action in the event of both undressing to describe women or to “expect a reasonable person to be able to provide privacy”.
Mr. Rotondo did not comply with the requirements to remove the material when requested by the court.
It was fined a total of $ 343,000, including $ 40,000 financial penalties. Mr. Rotondo was ordered to pay the expenses of the Easetis Commissioner.
Women’s names were suppressed by the Federal Court.
