Man charged over Boxing Day stabbing on Central Coast

A man has been charged in connection with an alleged stabbing at a restaurant on Boxing Day.
Paramedics and police were called to a restaurant on Entry Road on the NSW Central Coast to reports of a stabbing at around 6pm on Friday.
Inside they found a 63-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.
The person in serious condition was taken to hospital by plane.
Following the attack, police arrested a 40-year-old man near Long Jetty and took him to Wyong Police Station.
He is believed to have known the victim who stabbed him and has been charged with careless wounding (domestic violence) and breaching a remand domestic violence order.
The 40-year-old man was refused bail and will appear before Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
