State funeral for Richardson says a lot about this Labor government

That the Albanian government believes Graham Richardson deserves a state funeral tells us much more about the ethics of the current version of the federal Labor Party than the late “power broker” and his thoroughly rotten Sydney identity. It certainly casts doubt on the idea that state funerals were private recognition of achievements in political and public life, because whatever else Richardson believed in, he did not believe in democracy or the rule of law.
Nine newspapers gave them the send-off they deserved.
