State Govt To Present YSR Awards To Progressive Farmers: Bhatti
Haydarabad, July 8: Deputy Prime Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, late Prime Minister of the State Government. In memory of Rajashekar Reddy, he announced that he was thinking of establishing awards for progressive farmers (Adharsha Raithulu). Authority said that a foundation named Rajashekar Redy will be established to organize and implement programs.
On Tuesday, Bhatti paid flower tributes at his statue in Banjara Hills on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Prime Minister. Later, he detailed the plans while talking to the media.
He said that on September 2, Rajashekar Reddy’s death anniversary will be designed to recognize individuals who are experts in agriculture, researchers working in the field of agriculture and those who contribute to the development of the sector in this region.
Bhatti, YSR will be remembered every day and the vision will be moved forward, he said. When people think about Rajashekar Reddy, he said that the agricultural and irrigation projects would come to my mind first. He called it to the late cm as a visionary behind the construction of irrigation projects to direct the waters of the two rivers (Godavari and Krishna) to agricultural land.
