Statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee unveiled in Bhimavaram

Union Minister of Civil Aviation K. Rammohan Naidu, accompanied by Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries B. Srinivasa Varma, unveiled the statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Bhimavaram town during the Atal-Modi Suparipalana Yatra on Monday.

Addressing the public meeting, Mr. Rammohan Naidu urged the youth to study the life of Mr. Vajpayee. He said: “Mr Vajpayee is credited with establishing a strong national highway connectivity in Andhra Pradesh. His efforts towards the development of North East India are also commendable”.

Mr. Srinivasa Varma appealed to the party cadre to attend the unveiling of another Vajpayee statue by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan in Amaravati on December 25.

BJP Andhra Pradesh State president PVN Madhav, Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav, Rajya Sabha MP P. Satyanarayana, Vice President Raghurama Krishnam Raju and other public representatives participated in a bicycle rally during the Atal-Modi Suparipalana Yatra.
