Stephen A. Smith argues that the egos of Dem leaders are keeping them from accepting Trump's help on crime

ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith said in a statement on Thursday that the democratic figures against President Donald Trump were motivated for fear of losing the ego and power.
In an interview about Fox News Channel’s “The Will Cain Show”, Smith was the host Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, including democratic leaders, refused to work with Trump, because he said he would harm the image of cooperation with the President.
“When you consider these things, there are people who are worried that their powers are usurped, they are also worried about protecting power, because if they are willing to meet the President, they will alienate their parties.”
Gov. Pritzker says Trump is trying to ‘produce a crisis’ because he plans to distribute national guard to Chicago.
Trump pointed out the intention of sending a federal union to Chicago to address the city’s violent crimes. A real social article shared on Tuesday, “At least 54 people were shot in Chicago at the weekend, 8 people were killed … Pritzker needs bad help, he doesn’t know yet. I will solve the crime problem quickly, just like I do in DC, Chicago will be safe again and soon make America again!”
Washington, DC, ordered Trump to deploy the deployment of US national guards and expanded the federal law enforcement officers in the city last month.
Trump’s calls for federal intervention similar to Chicago returned from Pritzker and Johnson.

The governor said that there was no crime in Chicago and that Trump continues to “produce a crisis, politicize uniform service Americans, and abuse the power caused by the working families,” he said.
He also called Trump’s idea “contrary to the constitution” and “non -American”.
Johnson said in X last month, “What the President proposed would be the ugliest violation of our constitution in the 21st century. The city of Chicago does not need military occupation.”
Smith, while protecting the egos of democratic leaders, he argued that Republicans were guilty of blindly supporting Trump’s agenda.
The commentator said, “But they are not guilty because they are willing to sign people who are right for the same reasons for the same reasons and we will be willing to sign everything they do, so again, politics in the face of the board of directors.” He said.

However, Smith said that crime and death in Chicago should give priority to the political fight.
“But as a black man who speaks with the murders you emphasized and expressed, this is my primary concern, and this should usurp all other concerns when it comes to what we’re talking about,” Cain said. “People are killed in the streets, especially in the streets of Chicago.”
For Pritzker and Johnson, representatives did not respond immediately to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
