According to Vision Times, the clip posted by blogger “Finance Cold Eye” shows what appears to be an electronic module hidden inside the shoe.
Viewers check their own shoes
Hours after the video went viral, viewers claimed they started checking their own purchases. Some reported that they immediately contacted the police after finding similar devices.
The blogger questioned why such tracking devices would be installed in production and suggested that the devices could be used to track certain groups, particularly teenagers and young adults between the ages of 16 and 22. It also raised the possibility that someone might have deliberately purchased these shoes for a targeted person.
