Storm Floris to hit UK on Monday with unseasonably strong winds forecast | UK weather

The Met Office is expected to bring strong winds to England on Monday, Storm Floris.

The most powerful winds are expected in Scotland in the afternoon and during the night and Gusts up to 85Mph on the exposed shores and hills.

There is a yellow air warning for the wind to the north of England at 6:00 on Tuesday from Scotland, North Ireland, North Wales and North on Tuesday.

Heavy rain is expected with estimates of transportation deterioration.
