Storm Pedro to bring snow and more heavy rain to UK

A new weather system dubbed Storm Pedro by forecasters will bring snow and heavy rain to the UK this week.

The final naming came from the French national weather service Meteo France, where the storm was predicted to have a serious impact.

Despite a period of rain and gloomy weather, temperatures are expected to rise again in parts of the country towards the weekend, reaching 13C in Exeter, according to the Met Office.
