Strathfield mayor declares war on real estate signs

Real estate signs can soon be banned from public land in Sydney’s inner western regions by an increase in complaints that cause “visual pollution üzerinde on nature strips, roads and intersections.

The proliferation of real estate signs in public spaces encouraged to investigate new rules to stop placing advertising materials, including the “pointer signs of Strathfield Council, including open home inspections and auction.

Strathfield Mayor John-Paul Baladi said that the number of “garbage” signs of local streets, residents, visual clutter and signs caused drivers to cause drivers, he said.

“If you come to Strathfield for a weekend, you see that the signs of real estate agents have thrown the signs of green areas, intersections and roads all over the roads, and this causes important visual pollution,” he said.

“To put a sign out of a house is something, but it is another thing to put a sign in a way of a road every five meters.

“On the turnings, in the street corners, and often agents do not receive their records for days, even if not weeks.”

Baladi said that public complaints coincided with a recent explosion in the real estate market of Strathfield.

“Sales reach a sign of 15 million dollars, while the agencies seem to have a desperation to make people know which properties are for sale,” he said.
