Vijayawada reinstated Haj embarkation point

With great relief for the Muslim community in Andhra Pradesh, the Ministry of Minority Affairs officially officially restored Vijayawada as a pilgrimage point.
The announcement followed an official request to Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s Minister of Union Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju.
The ministry, which responded positively, issued official orders that declared Vijayawada a starting point for pilgrimage pilgrims.
This means that the pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh will no longer have to travel to other states to start their sacred journeys and significantly reduce both the difficulty of travel and the relevant costs.
