Strictly Come Dancing’s Alex Kingston became the eighth celebrity to be eliminated from the competition on Sunday after making numerous mistakes during her performance.
The 62-year-old actor and his professional partner Johannes Radebe face EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal and Julian Callion, who survived the dance competition for a record fifth time.
The week’s score was made up of last week’s Blackpool Special votes, the judges’ scores and extra points from Saturday’s brand new challenge ‘Instant Dance’.
Anton decided to save Alex and Johannes, but Craig, Motsi and Shirley agreed to save Balvinder and Julian, thus ensuring Balvinder’s place in the quarter-finals.
Following the results, Alex told presenter Tess Daly how much she loved the show and the journey, saying: ‘Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I could last this long.
‘This has been the most incredible journey for me. I’m pretty proud of myself because I loved the process, I mean 100%, you can tell by my smile.

Johannes acknowledged a lifelong friendship with Alex and told Tess: ‘I’ve never smiled so much in the last few weeks.
‘Thank you for being a soldier Alex, I will hold on to the memories.
‘I think we have achieved what we wanted to achieve in dance.
‘These memories are just the beginning for us, we can truly say that we are a family.’
The results also show that a Rumba was found Wicked Game, prepared by Grace Carter, is choreographed by Oti Mabuse and Marius Lepure.
Myles Smith also gave an incredible performance of Stay accompanied by professional dancers Kai Widdrington and Karen Hauer.
Next week we’ll see the remaining five couples dance their way through Musical Week for the quarter-finals on Saturday at 7.45pm.

Judge Motsi Mabuse said: ‘I can forgive one mistake, two mistakes I will ignore, three mistakes? ‘I’m not a Santa Claus!’
Speaking to host Claudia Winkleman afterwards, an emotional Alex said: ‘When you get to the extreme, it’s never really discussed how our bodies are suffering and my 62-year-old self is saying, you name it, but my soul and spirit. [puts finger in her ears] la la la, I don’t want to know, I want to keep dancing’.
Taking X fans said: ‘He’s gutted for Alex. I was really surprised and I was all over the place. But the judges showed such humility in their comments’: ‘I felt sorry for Alex’: ‘The poor girl made so many mistakes, at least she kept going’: ‘I want to hug Alex’.
Viewers at home later noticed Alex limping painfully and were worried he would have to withdraw from the competition.
‘Why is Alex limping? If she’s hurt herself, surely it’s a good idea to keep dancing?’: ‘I’m sorry, it’s obvious there’s something wrong with Alex. Does he literally limp when he walks? Should someone get the girl a doctor? Even if he achieves this, I feel like this could be the end of the road.’
‘I hope Alex is okay. ‘He looks like he’s limping pretty badly’: ‘Poor Alex looked like he was limping after choosing his outfit! I hope he’s okay’: ‘Poor Alex is limping’: ‘Was Alex limping then?’.
Alex’s performance phenom George Clarke took to the field with his professional partner Alexis Warr to make a quick move after taking his top 10 last week.
