Student debt to be slashed, less cash deducted from pay
Students and graduates will soon see a decrease in HecS debts and save hundreds of dollars a year.
Federal Education Minister Jason Clare will bring legislation to reduce student debt by 20 percent and increase the income that graduates should earn before the start of minimum refunds.
The first draft law will be put in front of the Parliament at the beginning of the second period of the Albanian government.
People who earn between 60,000 and 180,000 dollars will save hundreds of dollars every year under changes.
A person of $ 70,000 will save a maximum of $ 1300 per year with minimum refunds due to the increase in the thresholds to be repaid of debts.
Savings vary between revenues in parentheses, and people are pockets anywhere between $ 200 and $ 850.
