Bihar Assembly polls: NDA indulges in divisive politics, propagating fake nationalism, alleges Priyanka

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday, November 1, 2025, alleged that the NDA government at the Center and Bihar was indulging in divisive policies and spreading “fake nationalism” to win elections.
Addressing her maiden poll rally at Begusarai in the Bihar polls this year, she claimed that there is “no double-engine government in the State as everything is controlled from Delhi”.
He also criticized the BJP for the special massive revision (SIR) of voter rolls in Bihar and claimed that “deletion of voters’ names amounts to violation of people’s rights”.

“First they divided people, went to war but could not divert attention from real problems, so now they are stealing votes,” Vadra claimed while attacking the BJP.
The Congress leader further alleged: “BJP leaders criticize Nehru ji and Indira ji, but they do not raise issues like unemployment, immigration… NDA government is playing divisive politics and propagating false nationalism.”
He claimed that Bihar has contributed greatly to the growth of the country but the state is not developing as it should.
“Don’t be fooled by the promises of the Bihar government,” the Congress MP said at the rally.
Alleging that privatization was rampant in the NDA rule, he alleged, “The Chief Minister has handed over big PSUs to his corporate friends.”
