Home Minister G. Parameshwara said he has directed the Director General of Police (DGP) of Karnataka to submit a detailed report on the allegations of harassment made by the Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement (DCRE) inspector and a separate letter written by a Police Inspector against the Mangaluru City Police Commissioner.
Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru on April 21, Dr. Parameshwara said that he took note of the media reports on the issue. While the DCRE Inspector identified as Srinivas raised serious allegations, SP Kashinath wrote to the DGP highlighting his concerns.
