AIMIM to Back Justice Sudershan Reddy in VP Polls: Owaisi

Haydarabad: Party chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that all Majlis-e-ıttehadul Müslimeen (AIMIM), India, will support the candidate justice of the opposition.
Owaisi, who shared an X mission, said that the Prime Minister of Teangana Revanth Redy asked him to support Justice Redy in the elections.
“@Telanganacmo spoke to me today and asked us to support Justice Sudershan Reddy as the vice president.
Justice B Sudershan Redy was declared as a candidate against the opposition’s CP Radhakrishnan for the Vice President of India for the same day with the vote count for the same day.
Early on Thursday, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also supported Justice Redy.
“B Sudershan Reddy Ji is not related to any political party. It will receive the support of all our deputies. I have full belief that it will protect the constitution and democracy and at the same time will carry out the house more effectively. He said.
Meanwhile, the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar), Samajwadi Party, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Shiv Sena (UBT), AAM AADMI Party and Trinamool Congress support Justice Reddy in the polls.
Justice B Sudershan Redy retired in July 2011, which served as the chief justice of the Guwahati Supreme Court before he was promoted to the Supreme Court in 2007.
He also worked as an additional consultant for the central government for six months in 1990. He worked as a law consultant and a standing consultant for Osmania University. On May 2, 1995, he was appointed as the permanent judge of the Supreme Court of Andhra Pradesh.
