Minister Amanda Camm orders audit of IT upgrade that put children at risk
Queensland Child Security Minister Amanda Camm will launch a control about what it describes as “critical IT failure olan, which potentially affects staff’s ability to act on time -sensitive risks for vulnerable children.
At a media conference in Brisbane on Saturday morning, Camm revealed problems with a long -awaited CT system upgrade called Unify, where his department was in April.

“As the Minister of Child Security, my great concern is that such a system failure may result in the death of a child,” he said.
Department of Camm on Wednesday, General Manager Belinda Drew on Friday before the Minister was informed about how to handle the problems.
Camm said that the department would order an external control of the $ 183 million system initiated by the former government until Monday. The job is expected to take up to two months.
