Andrew Mountbatten arrested in Windsor Sandringham house on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

Andrew has consistently denied all allegations made against him regarding Epstein.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is in custody after being arrested on suspicion of abuse of public office.
Thames Valley Police said searches were carried out at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk.
Deputy Chief Constable Oliver Wright said: “Following a thorough assessment, we have launched an investigation into allegations of misconduct in public office.
“As we work with our partners to investigate this alleged crime, it is important that we maintain the integrity and impartiality of our investigation.
“We understand the significant public interest in this case and will provide updates at the appropriate time.”

Thames Valley Police said: “As part of the investigation, we arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk today (19/2) on suspicion of misconduct in public office and are carrying out searches at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk.
“The man is currently in police custody.
In accordance with national rules, we will not name the arrested man. Please note that this case is currently active and therefore caution should be exercised in any publication to avoid contempt of court.”

According to the BBC, at least six unmarked police cars were seen heading towards Sandringham Estate this morning and around eight officers are thought to be at the scene.

The arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor comes after the prime minister said the former royal should meet with officials in the UK and US about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Speaking to BBC Breakfast, Starmer said: “Anyone with any information should come forward. So anyone with relevant information, whether it’s Andrew or anyone else, should contact the relevant authority, we’re talking about Epstein in this particular case, but there are many others as well.”
“In my view, anyone with information about any aspect of violence against women and girls, no matter who they are, has a duty to come forward.”
