Suspect held after several shot outside US casino

The US local police say that a man who opened fire just outside a casino in Reno, Nevada shot more than one person before he was detained.
Reno Police Spokesman Chris Johnson said the conditions of the victims at the Grand Sierra Resort were unknown.
Johnson said the suspected armed man was treated in a hospital.
Famous Regional Medical Center Spokesman Caroline Ackerman, the hospital’s emergency service, a few patients with gun wounds, he said.
Johnson was reported outside 7.30 in the valet area on Monday.
The spokesman of the Washoe County Sheriff Department, said an officer joined the fire.
More than a year ago, the two men were accused of hitting another man who stayed at the facility in January 2024 in a fatal way.
On Monday, Reno police warned the residents to stay away from the region.
A multi -emergency vehicle, including several ambulances, replied outside the casino.
Grand Sierra claims that North Nevada has the largest casino base and is just a few blocks from Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
It is also one of the highest buildings in the city with about 2000 hotel rooms.
