Suspect wanted following sex assaults near Fort York: Cops

A suspect is being sought by police as investigators believe the same man is responsible for similar sexual assaults near Fort York this summer.

Toronto Police said officers responded to a call for a sexual assault on June 27 at approximately 7:10 p.m. in the Queens Quay and Dan Leckie Way area.

It was reported that a man approached the victim in the Toronto Music Garden and asked her to take his picture. The man then told the victim he was a palm reader and could tell her fortune.
Cops allege the man then led the victim to an isolated area and sexually assaulted her.

Then on July 31 at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for another sexual assault in the Lake Shore Blvd. W. and Fort York Blvd. area.
It was reported that a man approached the victim in Coronation Park and asked her to take his picture. The man then told the victim he was a palm reader and could tell her fortune.
