A pair of “smiling” teenage boys raped a “petrified” girl in a New Forest town while filming her ordeal, a court heard.
The trial at Southampton Crown Court involves three boys charged in connection with raping two girls in two incidents in Fordingbridge, Hampshire.
Two of the defendants, now aged 15, face four rape charges against the complainant in the first alleged attack, which occurred in November 2024. In the incident, which occurred in January 2025, the first accused also faces two rape charges, while the second accused faces four rape charges against the second complainant.

A third boy, now 14 but 13 at the time, faced two rape charges in the second incident for aiding and abetting the second defendant. The first boy is also accused of taking three indecent photographs of the girl during the January incident.
Prosecutor Jodie Mittel KC said that in the November incident, the girl, who was 15 at the time, first contacted the first defendant when he sent her a friend invitation on Snapchat. The prosecutor said that the girl later came to visit him at home and bought him a bottle of Lucozade and they chatted in the park.
The girl agreed to go to an underpass and have sex with the boy, who was 14 at the time, until she was disturbed by passersby, the court heard. Ms Mittel told the court the girl said she was “nervous” but “relaxed” when alone with the boy because she felt “some affection” for him.
The prosecutor said the girl was “scared and worried” when the second defendant, who was 14 at the time, and a third boy, who was not the third defendant, came and “started pressuring her and they were recording her” and “laughing”.
Ms Mittel said the boys suggested they have a “threesome” and the girl was “disgusted” by it but agreed because she felt “the three boys were just against her”. The prosecutor said: “The word he used to describe how he felt was horrified. (He) says he agreed, but only because he didn’t know what would happen if he didn’t say yes.”
He said the boys and the girl returned to the underpass, where the girl said she felt “cornered and trapped” as the two defendants raped her, and the second defendant filmed this. Ms Mittel said the girl described how she felt “numb”, adding: “She said she was shaking and the boys were just laughing and recording what was happening.

Ms. Mittel said the incident lasted about 90 minutes, adding: “He felt sick, felt like he was about to faint, and he was sitting quietly and doing his best not to cry while the other kids were recording.” Ms. Mittel said videos of the incident subsequently circulated, with others making jokes about her and receiving messages calling her a “slut.”
Ms Mittel added: “Unfortunately, you might think (the two boys) didn’t seem very concerned about what (the complainant) wanted or didn’t want to do or what she was feeling, and we would say they just wanted to use her for the sexual things they wanted to do.”
Ms Mittel said the complainant, who was 14 at the time of the January incident, told police she had been with two friends before going home and left her with three other girls before the three defendants arrived.
The complainant stated that the first defendant threatened him with a knife and told him to leave his phone, which had an Airtag tracker, at a convenience store before walking to the recreation area and a nearby area. The prosecutor said that the video footage recorded on the second defendant’s phone showed that the girl was raped by the first two defendants.
Ms Mittel said CCTV footage did not show a knife and a girl witness said the complainant had to “put aside” her phone so her mother could not track her. The defendants deny the accusations, the trial continues.
