Swimmer missing near Laceys Lane on the Gold Coast
Emergency crews are searching for a missing swimmer off the Gold Coast.
Reports of a woman struggling in the water near Laceys Lane in Palm Beach were reported just after 7 a.m. Saturday.
Airplanes, surf lifeguards, water police, sea rescue and foot patrols took part in the search.
Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics were on the beach at around 9am.
Police appealed for anyone with information about the woman’s whereabouts to come forward.
