Princess Catherine surprised the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust with a Christmas tree at its annual caroling ceremony earlier this month. @royalmarsdennhs shared a photo of the beautiful tree filled with purple, pink and gold ornaments and ornaments on its official Instagram account.
The caption read: “Thank you to Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron of the Royal Marsden and The Prince of Wales, for donating a magnificent Christmas tree from the ‘Christmas Together’ Carol Service at Westminster Abbey earlier this month.”
They added: “Also thank you to Stephen Phair from @premier_plants for donating the decorations and taking the time to decorate so beautifully. [purple-heart emoji]”
The post also shared that it was placed at the entrance of Oak Cancer Center in Sutton.
He previously appeared at the royal’s sixth annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey on December 5.
The sweet gesture comes 20 months after Catherine revealed she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy in an emotional video released by Kensington Palace.
She later announced that she had finished chemotherapy in a video shared in September 2024, which also featured Prince William and her children.
Earlier this year Catherine visited the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she was treated.
This was an important step in his recovery journey as he returned to public duties after his recovery.
Speaking about his recovery, the 43-year-old actor previously described his journey as a “rollercoaster” but expressed his hope and resilience, revealing he is focused on finding a “new normal”.
