According to the state government, heavy rainfall increased the flow of a river in Merida in Venezuela and triggered floods affecting more than 270 families.

Many calm also lost their belongings to flood waters.

“He washed my whole house. I couldn’t save anything from my house, Jor Jorge Luis Rivas said with tears of tears. “Thank God my protective angel told me to return home. I did so, I saved my family in my house.”

The Venezuela government has activated a special response plan that provides medical care, food and materials. No death was reported.

Tachira, Barinas and Trujillo are among the other states affected by the rains caused by the passage of tropical waves in the Anean region.
